PROXIMITY is a gallery of portraits I created to illustrate the impact the people in my life have had on me. I decided on this name because these are people I don't see or talk to every day, but the emotional and mental impact they have on me is something always with me. I think this is a good way to show that people around you don't have to be people physically around you. The cliche of distance means so little when the person means so much" is something very true, especially with my family and friends from home. In quarantine, as well, it's important to recognize that although we can't see our loved ones, they will always be with us, and always be there for us, no matter the distance.
